SmartSchedule Driver is a platform for vehicle dealers to source, schedule and pay freelance for driving tasks like dealer trades and inventory re-balancing between dealer locations. The dealer enters their driver requirements from their browser; date and time needed on site, destination dealership address and contact information. The dealer also specifies the amount they will pay for the job. The app presents a list of all available drivers for the dealer to choose. The dealer can look at driver credentials, DMV record, National Criminal Background check, license image and driver personal liability coverage, before selecting the driver. When the driver confirms their availability to the dealer, and the dealer confirms the job, the driver arrives at the dealer specified time and drives the vehicle to the destination dealer where the vehicle is exchanged for the vehicle to be returned to the originating dealer. The driver alerts the originating dealer that they are returning to the dealer with a "Return to Origin" button on their device. When the driver has returned to the originating dealership they press a "Finish Job" button which makes them "Available" to accept a job offer, and which sends an email invoice for payment, through a PayPal link.
